A great way to add a warm ambiance to your next event is to add stringer lights into your lighting design. Stringer lights can be utilized in both outdoor and indoor spaces to create the mood you are wanting to achieve. Here at BEYOND we have used stringer lights, also known as beer garden or pizzeria lights, in our designs to add a unique touch to an outdoor patio, suspended over a walkway for an inviting entrance, strung across tents and over guest tables to highlight the event space. The stringer lights can also be used to add a unique touch to your design by stringing them through windows or across a pool area. In the photo of the tent below our twinkle lights were used to string across and highlight the chandelier centerpiece. For a variation lighting design elements clients can combine the twinkle and bulb stringer lights. Another way you can create a certain mood or ambiance for your space is to change out the bulbs in the stringer lights for a different color effect. One thing you want to consider when adding stringer lights is to see if there is an existing structure you will be able to use or if you will need to add a structure such as a support beam into your design. BEYOND offers support beams including a unique cedar wrapped beam to attach the lights to. The cedar beams works great in outdoor spaces or if your event has a more rustic feel to it.
